Field Notes: Kyneton, VIC.
Field Notes, our go-to spots, straight from the wild. This week, we’re heading to dreamy Kyneton, just one-hour from Melbourne’s CBD.
February 2026
Nestled in Victoria’s celebrated spa country, Daylesford and the Kyneton region offer a slower, more indulgent kind of escape, where mineral springs bubble beneath the earth and long lunches stretch into golden afternoons.
Whether you’re seeking cosy cafés, destination dining or peaceful nature walks, this region delivers in spades.
We have two beautiful tiny homes in Kyneton that can be booked separately, or together – depending on the type of escape you’re after.
Drive just over 60 minutes from Melbourne to Kyneton, where Tiny Max and Tiny Harper resides. Here, your private hideaway is surrounded by the beauty of the bush – perfect for curling up with a book, or setting out on a mindful walk through nature. You may even be greeted by Harry, the farm dog, who loves welcoming guests to the property.
Both tiny homes collectively sleep 7 people and are separated by a mere 150 metres. Each house provides complete seclusion, allowing you to have your own space, yet, with a short walk, you can easily catch up with your friends or loved ones whenever you feel like it.
If you’re after an individual escape – Tiny Harper sleeps up to four guests and features a hot tub, perfect for those golden afternoons when you’re ready to unwind with loved ones. Tiny Max, sleeps three guests and features a stunning outdoor bathtub on the deck. Perfect for solo travellers, or couples who are seeking a chance to switch off, slow down and reconnect with nature.
You can even ‘add on’ a locally supplied charcuterie box, or breakfast hamper at checkout.
Book Tiny Harper and Tiny Max here.
Or book Tiny Harper, or Tiny Max separately here.
